Dalton Preston

Dalton Preston is responsible for the careful and accurate execution of trades, management of accounts, and performance reporting and account analysis to support Dakota Wealth Management’s portfolio managers. He also ensures regulatory and internal compliance of trading operations.

Prior to joining Dakota, Dalton was a trader at Castle Wealth Management in West Palm Beach, Florida. At Castle, Dalton was primarily responsible for trading and rebalancing operations, and he worked closely with Castle’s portfolio managers and financial planners on the management of client portfolios and the analysis and maintenance of recommended investments.

Dalton earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance and Banking from the University of Missouri in 2015. Dalton is currently a CFA Level I Candidate, and he’s pursuing a Private Pilot’s License to fulfill a lifelong interest in aviation.

Dalton moved to South Florida in 2018 with his longtime girlfriend, Lynsey. Lynsey and Dalton operate an equestrian farm in Loxahatchee Groves, Florida, and they have three dogs: Nala, Gia, and Bruce. In addition to his interest in aviation, Dalton also enjoys history, reading, sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
