Dana J. Tonrey

Dana J. Tonrey embraces change and believes it is the only way we learn and grow. Dana is a “fixer” and at her best when she can take a system, process, or team that is struggling, look for the core issue, and implement a long-term solution. With over thirty years of managing information technology within the investment industry, she is primarily responsible for integrating systems and processes as well as project and change management at Dakota Wealth.

Dana was Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and Manager of Information Technology for Stillwater Investment Management, LLC where she was responsible for ensuring compliance with outside regulatory requirements and internal policies, as well as the firm’s technology applications, implementation, and vision. Dakota Wealth acquired Stillwater Investment Management in 2023.

Prior to joining Stillwater Investment Management, Dana served as Vice President of Technology Services for Wellington Management, Boston, Massachusetts, and Network Integrator of Information Services for Putnam Investments. Dana received her Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, and an MBA from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.

Actively involved in community theater, Dana most recently served as Board Chair of Ashland Productions, a youth-focused theater organization.

She also volunteers with Valley Outreach, a local food shelf and basic needs organization. Dana is mom to two young adults both living in New York City, and she is an avid traveler, foodie, and lover of musical theater.
